Summer finally feels right around the corner, and that means it’s time to break out some of my favorite Pacifica products. I fell in love with Pacifica last Summer because of their adorable packaging and their commitment to using all vegan ingredients and cruelty-free practices. You can read more about the ingredients they use here!
When the weather gets nice, I like to use a lot of tropical and fruity-scented products that won’t irritate my skin or harm the planet – and that’s why I love this brand so much. So, let’s jump right into it!
Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter
The body butters and lotions were the first Pacifica products I discovered. They have so many amazing options, but the Indian Coconut Nectar is my go-to for summer. I wish I could let you all smell it. It’s so rich and tropical, and it’s moisturizing enough to help me get an extra few days out of my fake tan.
Pineapple Curls and Pineapple Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner
It is almost impossible for me to find a vegan, cruelty-free, sulfate-free, blah blah blah shampoo and conditioner that actually works for me. Usually, the really natural stuff just doesn’t cut it and definitely doesn’t keep my bleached and dyed hair soft.
But then I bought this set for my girlfriend (who actually does have curly hair), and I tried it out just because it smelled so damn good. Now I’m hooked on the stuff. It makes the entire shower smell like pineapple. The shampoo lathers really well, and the conditioner leaves my hair so soft and healthy. I can’t wait to try out more of their options, but I’ll definitely be sticking with the pineapple scent through the nice weather!
Berry Clean Face Wash
After using a few really rough exfoliating face washes, I wanted to try out a gentler option and picked up the Berry Clean face wash. I’ll be honest – the texture is…weird. It’s a jelly texture that just doesn’t seem right at first. But it smells incredible, lathers super nicely, and has been treating my sensitive skin really well.
I’ve noticed a big difference in my skin since I’ve started using it, so now it’s my go-to. Lumpy texture and all.
Color Quench Lip Tint – Naked
My fellow vegans out there know that it is a struggle to find lip balms that don’t contain beeswax. When you do, they’re typically super oily and just not that great.
Last month I was at the mall with Meg, who was recovering from a cold and had very chapped lips. As I was looking at the Pacifica lip balms in Ulta, I noticed that they had a naked option with no tint. We bought it, tried it out, and loved it.
The naked option is coconut cherry scented and lovely.
And that’s it! There are so many other Pacifica items I love (I highly recommend their sheet masks) but these are just a few of my Summer favorites. Try them out for yourselves!
